Sunflower State FC selects Advantage Goalkeeping as their official goalkeeper glove provider
Advantage Goalkeeping is please to announce they have been chosen as the official glove provider for Sunflower State FC's goalkeepers in 2022. This partnership will provide their goalkeepers with the professional quality custom goalkeeper gloves available throughout their 2022 campaign.
Sunflower State FC's mission is to provide high level playing opportunities to all types of players that have the passion to play the beautiful game, while creating meaningful impact in our players lives and our community through soccer.
Advantage Goalkeeping is a leading manufacturer of professional quality custom goalie gloves to more than 200 mens and women's college and university programs and professional soccer club throughout the United States Soccer Federation. Founder Mike Poledna is an Omaha, NE native living in Florida. His family has deep roots in Nebraska soccer dating back to the 1970s when his father, Larry Poledna, coached for Husker-Raider Soccer Club, one of Omaha's first youth clubs. He also later served as president of the Eastern Nebraska Soccer Association.

About Sunflower State FC (www.sunflowerstatefc.com) - Born out of a love for the game our founding members began playing in Kansas City adult leagues as Queso Blanco. Over our first two years competing in the most competitive amateur adult leagues and tournaments in the area we found substantial success, winning 10 first and second place trophies. Through these years interest in our team began to grow and our passion for the game fueled the desire to continue to play at a high level and provide additional playing opportunities for players that may not have them otherwise. This lead to the development and transition to Sunflower State FC and beginning semi-pro competition in the MASL 3 and UPSL in 2020-2021. Our passion and excitement for the game persists and we are excited to bring opportunity to players and make an impact through soccer in our community.
